Genuine conversation, means stepping out of “I” and knocking on the door of “you”.

Louisa’s

Story

Louisa’s Story

Louisa was an equal partner with her colleague in a jointly-owned medical practice. At a certain point, Louisa wanted to expand the scope of the practice by merging with another practice, owned by two male colleagues. Negotiations soon became bogged-down, such that the parties decided to engage me as a team and negotiations mentor. We worked together to reveal the blockers: unconscious reservations and assumptions on roles. Once these were successfully identified and cleared, the negotiations were quickly brought to a successful conclusion.

Paul’s

Story

Paul’s Story

As a self-employed sculptor, Paul wanted to improve sales of his artworks. Through personal coaching, we were able to identify and work with Paul’s subconscious conflicts; those personal convictions and inhibitions which had been hindering his sales success. The result was that Paul, whilst retaining his sense of artistic aesthetic, was able to promote a strong business mindset. As a direct consequence Paul was able to drive an substantial improvement in his sales figures.

Bruno’s

Story

Bruno’s Story

Bruno, a businessman, had been suffering for a number of years from unexplained, but ever-increasing levels of anxiety. He had lost self-confidence, was unable to sleep and was scared that he would die. After a few meetings it became clear to Bruno that his own father had suddenly died at exactly the age Bruno now was. Once this connection had been established, and Bruno was once again able to mourn the loss of his father in the protected surroundings of the consultation, Bruno quickly recovered his inner balance and perspective.

Psychotherapy

The essence of psychotherapy (psychodynamic) is the search for subconscious or repressed issues, which are at the heart of an unresolved problem. The professional exploration and review of these issues, in their real-life context, provides a mechanism to reach a problem-resolution, by recognising and managing its deep-seated origin.

Dr. med. Martina Hilse

  • Psychodynamic Coaching
  • Individual and Team Coaching
  • Psychotherapy for adults and young people

I am a qualified medical doctor, specialising in psychotherapy and psychiatry, as well as a member of the DGSv (German Association for Supervision). After ten years working in psychotherapeutic and psychiatric clinics, I established my own private practice fifteen years ago.

By developing a deeper understanding of the inner psychology of the individual or a group, it is possible to significantly improve interpersonal relationships and outcomes at work. In doing so, it is just as important to develop an understanding of the other people with whom one interacts, as it is to understand one’s own personal world. This is where I come in. A great deal of my work is about creating the incentives and providing the support to allow a targeted exploration of the subconscious and to connect these learnings to the present-day experience. Understanding one’s own inner-mind opens up many opportunities to be more successful and free in exploring the workplace, and indeed, everyday life.
